![]() ![]() Most of this is correct, except barrage ACTUALLY is a big difference from "attack ground".īarrage has a higher rate of fire and less accuracy. Same goes for suprise barrages of smoke, which throws off enemy support units like snipers and gives you some cover. They can only see your mortar when its attacking them, if you silence your mortar and move they may end up shelling where your mortar was in a effort to kill it, wasting time. Id only enable auto attack if i wanted the mortar to work normally shooting enemies pressed by MG's or in cover nearby fighting other units as right clicking on them can encourage the mortar to move and follow them if not cancelled with (s) though attack move is acceptable if you mark it at the mortars feet so they look for a new enemy to attack. When i want to normally use a mortar incognito and micro to avoid counter-bombardments i move to the edge of the range for the target, turn off auto-attack and hit barrage, move and do it again.
